Shifting and meeting customer needs during a pandemic.

On Tuesday February 9th at 7 pm we will hear from Elmer Oliveros, who together with his brother, Kevin, co-founded and run Brothers Fish & Chips on North Highland Avenue, Ossining.

Our theme in our 2021 Meet the Entrepreneur Next Door events will be RESILIENCE. We wish to acknowledge and share the stories of those in our community who have striven to navigate the uncertainties brought by Covid. Many businesses have been forced to close, many have striven to continue in some form and all have sought to continue to serve the communities for which they were created, a few have no doubt thrived. It is a massive understatement to say that things have been tough and unpredictable. In our own small way, by sharing these stories of success, failure and mostly "in-between" we illuminate the often undervalued role that local businesses play in the life and well-being of our communities and we hope to underscore their importance and the contributions they make.

The stories of these businesses are the stories of the people and families who's hard work, grit, imagination and dedication to their craft as well as to their customers and community has enabled them to push their dreams forward. We look forward to two inspirational evenings... Come join us...
