Description: With the economic challenges and uncertainties facing all of us these days, there’s never been a better time to launch your own new business. That’s why Ossining Innovates! is offering a “bootcamp” to guide those who want to start their business with a process for identifying and evaluating potential new business ideas.

Program Outcomes:

Participants will…

  • Become skilled in an approach to find opportunities, generate ideas, and evaluate them.  

Participants will graduate with:

  • A list of up to 30 ideas identified 

  • A prioritization of your ideas

  • Possibly have an idea you want to pursue further

  • Currently Dates are not set, Please apply to learn when the next bootcamp will be scheduled.

  • Cost: $75 (scholarships available upon request), payment only due when program is scheduled and participation confirmed.

Bootcamp Schedule:

Centered on concepts from Lean Startup and a customer-centric approach to building a business, this program is designed to help participants:

1.     learn how to identify ideas for new business opportunities,

2.     quickly evaluate the ideas for potential opportunity, and

3.     analyze the ideas against their personal ideas and interests

Length of Program: 15 days

Materials: Workbook is provided

Who Should Apply:

  • Individuals who wish to start a business but don’t yet have an idea

  • Individuals with a some ideas but not solid and willing to change course for a stronger idea
